Genna graduated from USC in 2015 with a BM in Popular Music after honing her skills and studying electric bass with Alphonso Johnson (Weather Report, Santana, Phil Collins). Her professional career in music began while still in school, appearing as a musician in several episodes of the tv series GLEE and performing around Los Angeles. In the past year, she has toured with artists such as Dustbowl Revival in Europe (American roots music), Alex Lahey across the US (alternative rock), and Sam Tsui throughout Southeast Asia (pop singer/songwriter). Genna enjoys using her real-world knowledge of the music industry to inspire her students the same way her instructors inspired her growing up.
